Gregory A. Stapp
Attorney Gregory A. Stapp joined the firm in 1998, having previously practiced in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.  Greg was born in Dallas, Texas and lived in Texas for the first 22 years of his life.

Greg attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  While at Baylor University, Greg was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, the History Honors Society and was a representative for the Arts and Sciences School in the Student Congress.

 

Following his graduation from Baylor, Greg attended the Dickinson School of Law, now known as the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.  Greg graduated from Dickinson in 1996 and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar on November 26, 1996.  He has also been admitted to practice before the Middle District Court of Pennsylvania.  Greg began his practice as a workers’ compensation attorney and Public Defender in Schuylkill County and has been active in the field of workers’ compensation since 1996.  He has now been practicing in the field of workers’ compensation and personal injury law for over 10 years and has handled more than 250 cases. 

 

Greg has handled appellate matters before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.  Besides an active practice in workers’ compensation and personal injury, Greg also has an active practice in employment law and regularly performs real estate closings.

 

He is on the Board of Directors of the North Central Sight Services, an organization providing assistance to visually challenged individuals in the Lycoming County and surrounding areas.  He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Williamsport, Pennsylvania where he has been a member since 1999.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Williamsport Christian School.  Greg is also an active member of the Lycoming County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.  He is president of the Susquehanna Christian Softball League and enjoys playing softball, football, basketball, tennis and other sports.

 

Greg currently lives in the Montoursville area with his wife Karen, who is also an attorney and his two children.
